Santarem Lily – Nymphaea gardenriana “Santarem”

Nymphaea gardenriana “Santarem” is a perfect aquarium lily. Its ability to reproduce via runners makes it very easy to propagate. Lily species have a tendency to send up searching leaves to determine where the water surface is, and if it is allowed to float, more leaves will be sent to join it in covering the surface. If this searching leaf is trimmed, growth will typically stay shorter. Under higher light, it will form lower and more bushy growth. The leaves of this plant are very soft and delicate, and may get damaged during shipment. As long as the roots are still intact, it should recover quickly.
