Spiral Crypt – Cryptocoryne spiralis

This tall and elegant Crypt species with spiraling leaves makes an excellent background plant for the low tech aquarium. It is not particular about lighting or substrate. It often grows well without any extra care, but grows more slowly than plants with higher demands. For excellent growth, we recommend nutrient rich substrate or fertilization via root tablets. Like any Cryptocoryne spp. it may melt back on addition to a new tank, but should re-establish over time.
