Like all caulerpa, this species is hardy and prolific. It can rapidly form mats of vine like growth, covering rock work and substrate with the bunches that earn it the common name Grape Caulerpa or Sea Grapes. Lighting is not crucial, this macroalgae can grow under almost any lighting.
