Cryptocoryne species have a reputation as some of the most hardy aquarium plants, and this crypt is no exception! Though crypts in general do grow more slowly than many aquarium plants, this species tends to outpace any other Crypts in our tanks. Lighting is not crucial, but nutrient rich substrate or root fertilization will keep these plants growing well. Like any Cryptocoryne spp. it may melt back on addition to a new tank, but should quickly regrow and thrive. Leaves tend to grow 4-6 inches tall, making Crypt. axelrodii a perfect mid ground plant.
Plants are shipped 2-day and guaranteed to arrive alive with the exception of carrier shipment delays. All claims must be reported within 24 hours of receiving and accompanied by a photo. In extreme weather, we may delay shipment.
